No Hard Sale

" I think your "Black Friday" E. Mail was a very enterprising initiative and I wish you many sales as a result of circulating it. I really appreciate your " No Hard Sale" policy. This was enjoyed by myself when I accompanied my daughter who with James in sales negotiated the purchase of a New KA Plus Zetec.  Prior to their demise, I was a customer of Thame Ford who, thankfully, adopted the same style of business, resulting in me buying several new cars's over the years.

Ka+ V Fiesta

Saw Ian's post a few weeks ago about the arrival of the new Ka+. The wife was looking at that time to replace her aged Fusion of eight years. Phoned James and went over to see at James invitation and took the Ka+ for a drive. Thinking Ka old style what a surprise when we saw the new Ka+ it drove nice handled well and very roomy as well. On return we looked at both the Ka+ and fiesta the result being we could not make up minds so we finished up buying both. The wife now has a Ka+ and me the Fiesta titanium navigator a pleasant experience if not a bit expensive. As I have said before great garage great staff. regards Jeff wright

My Fourth car from James

I have been buying my cars from Buckingham Ford since 2010 and this is my fourth one. James is a very knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. No need for me to visit everything was done over the phone apart from signing the paperwork, easy!  Living in Winchester i have a main dealer with two other sites i could go to all within 15 miles but i choose the 170 mile round trip due to the customer service i receive at Buckingham Ford. I changed from a 1.6 Diesel Estate to a 1.0 petrol Focus Eco boost hatchback and James told me i wouldn't regret it...he was right, so its another two years before i make the journey again.

No 'pushy' sales pitch

James was very helpful. I went in twice for quotes, a month apart and James explained the quotes and printed them off for me to take away. The thing i appreciated the most was the time James spent with me on both occasions but there was no 'pushy' sales pitch, it was obvious James believed that the quotes he provided were the best value Ford could offer and that they really sold themselves. It was then down to me to give the go ahead. James offered to go through anything i didn't understand and i could pop in or call him at any time. On delivery of my new car James took the time to explain all the latest updates compared to my old Fiesta, he even programmed in all my favourite radio stations!

Our last two cars have been purchased through James at Buckingham Ford. We never feel pressurised, we just tell James our requirements and he produces the goods. If we have a problem (usually down to us not understand the manual) then we simply book and appointment with James and he goes through all the procedures with us. Professional set up

James Emmett is an excellent, professional salesman who knows his business. First class customer service and nothing was to much to ask, efficient, helpful in completing all paperwork to finalise the contract.
