A Mild Hybrid has both an internal combustion engine and an electric motor. At low speed the engine can switch itself to the electric motor and it is able to recharge automatically so there is no need to connect to a power source. A Mild Hybrid is a great option for people who tend to use their cars for shorter journeys around their town or at a slower speed.
The Mild Hybrid will be available on the All-New KUGA, Fiesta and Focus with an Ecoboost, Petrol engine. The All-New Kuga will also be available using the latest Euro 6 Diesel technology, EcoBlue Hybrid engine.
