There has been a Dealership at this location for over 100 years and we are proud of the good relationship Buckingham Ford has built up in the local community.

We are sponsors of the Buckingham Ladies Hockey Club and Buckingham Cricket Club and have associations with Local Football teams and Buckingham Bowls Clubs.

Buckingham and Bicester Ford is a family run business, built on years of experience with Ford, by both Directors Mike and Ian Redding (father and son).

We both believe that when you come to us, your experience should be hassle-free and enjoyable. Whether it be a new car or a new side light bulb, coming to us should be a pleasurable experience.

Our comprehensive demonstrator fleet means we can offer test-drives in virtually all the range and if you cannot come to us, we will happily come to you.

With the vast knowledge we hold between the sales team, we should be able to locate the right car for you. You will never see every car we sell available on our web site or even on the sales forecourt, as over 50% of the cars we supply are sourced for a customer to their specification.

Ian Redding

I have been in the motor trade since 1986, first selling Ford's in Thame for a small dealership much like Buckingham Ford.

I then moved on to work in Chesham and Amersham selling Ford cars and vans for a much larger family business, over the 6 years I was there I enjoyed a good amount of repeat business and customer satisfaction.

I then went on to join 2 much larger dealerships, although this was good experience, the sales techniques were getting harder and more controlled, I could see this was not popular with customers, and they deserved better service.

This lead to Buckingham Ford opening in July 1996 and Bicester Ford in 1999 with my father Mike, where the emphasis has always been "a hassle-free selling environment" where our customer can come and enjoy buying a car and not look at it as a trial you have to endure in order to buy a new or used car.

Mike Redding

My connection with Ford goes back to 1963 in High Wycombe, but since then have worked like Ian in Chesham, Amersham, Dunstable, Wembley and lastly in Prestwood for a much smaller dealership, which led to Ian and I opening Buckingham Ford in July 1996.

The philosophy of the non-pressured sales area, has moved on since 1996 to all areas of our business, we like to think that all our staff will treat you as we would expect and enjoy when we go to other businesses to purchase anything.

That's why our accident repair centre will take over all the hassles of dealing with an insurance claim should you be unfortunate to have an accident. And our service department can offer a courtesy car.
